Message for All: Both hands are a very important part of each of us. Whether we eat, wash or draw, or play the piano, we all need hands. But there is a group of people around us who do not have arms and hands but still can live and work like a normal person.

My name is Sunil Kumar, and I came into this world on the 17th of April 1992 in Haryana, India. My early memories are clouded, as a tragic accident changed the course of my life when I was just 4 or 5 years old. Due to the electric shock, the doctors had to amputate my arms to keep me alive, leaving me with a challenging path ahead.

In the aftermath, my parents made the difficult decision to abandon me at PGI Hospital in Chandigarh, India. However, fate had something else in mind for me. A kind doctor by the name of Doctor Kalra intervened and took me under his wing, and brought me to Saket, where I now call my home.

Adapting to my new circumstances, I was taught to write using my mouth. Unfortunately, long-term use had detrimental effects on my vision. Then Sonika ma'am and my other teachers taught me to write slowly by holding a pen on my leg.

Taking their advice to heart, I began writing and drawing with my foot. Despite the challenges, I honed these skills, creating beautiful works of art. Over time, I extended this unique approach to various aspects of my life. I now navigate the digital world with cellphones, laptops, and computers using my feet. Remarkably, I even play the piano and manage everyday tasks like handling remotes with the same dexterity.

My journey is a testament to resilience, the support of kind individuals, and the ability to adapt to life's unexpected twists.

The journey is not over. I will come up with many masterpieces in painting world. My dream is to become an inspiration for those people who give up in their lives. I don't know why people beg or do suicides. I will achieve that level as an artist where I can be taken as a role model or example for all.

You can achieve everything until you quit trying.
